Living in a foster group home often
means going without many of the things that other children have. The
state does not provide for these "extras." You or your organization can
help! You can give a foster child a more normal life by sponsoring an
"extra" or two.
Some of these "extras" are:
- $ 25 - year book, middle school
- $ 75 - year book, high school
- $ 45 - prom ticket
- $150 - tux with deposit
- $45-$80 - most school trips
- $50 - physical exam to play sports
- $200 - school band fees (uniform rental, transportation, etc.)
- $100 - track and football uniform fees and cost of shoes
There are other variable fees for dance, the arts and other activities that enrich children's lives. Please help make a difference for these wonderful children. Help them to be more like any other kid.
