  • LCSW with a background in mental health and years of experience providing clinical and supportive services to children, teens and families
  • Certified as a Trauma & Loss Specialist, Certified Bereavement Facilitator and Certified in Thanatology- the study of Death, Dying and Bereavement

  • Worked with children and families in the community for more than 12 years in various capacities, including community-based, in-patient psychiatric, home-based, and private practice settings. 
  • Played a role in the planning and implementation of two of our largest conferences and has received recognition in the community for her commitment to children and the field in general.
  • First President of PBCCC after the merge took place between PBCJA and CANPTF, and has since remained an active board and general member.

  • LMHC, CAP, NCC, CCMHC with 10 years of experience working with clients with severe co-occurring disorders in clinics and residential treatment facilities.
  • Expertise in the areas of mental health and substance abuse.
  • Chair of the District 9 Area Managed Care Behavioral Forum.
  • President and founder of Carpe Diem Counseling & Wellness Services, Loxahatchee, FL.

  • State of Florida certified to teach Varying Exceptionalities (VE) for grades k-12
  • Employment in the field of Special Education working with adults, and all ages of children in a variety of settings for 30 years
  • Won State, Regional and National Head Start awards twice and several other awards and commendations for her work
  • Has been a member of FDLRS Advisory Committee, FGP/Area Agency on Aging Advisory Committee, CSC Equipment Committee, PBC Coalition for Children, and Pre-school Interagency Council
